| Description | Brown shawl with wide multi-colored band at either end and narrow band at middle point of bands; blue, red, green, purple, white. Blue fringe. Ikat dyed blue and white. The warp is composed of 34 singles Z-twist blue cotton.The weft is made up of 46 single and two singles Z-twist and of 50 single Z-twist natural brown handspun cotton. It is weft face to balanced plain weave. Made on a backstrap loom. |
