| Description | Print from a woodblock (Banjeol-Pan, 반절판) containing Korean syllabary, animals, and astrological charts. A print like this was used to teach the Korean syllables with small animals at the top representing the sounds of the letters. There is a marriage horoscope (gunghap) included to predict the compatibility of a couple. Yellowed paper with black calligraphy. Border in black and white geometric design. Along one edge there are small figures and abstract shapes drawn. |
