| Description | Dark gray-brown pottery vase with flaring top. There is a sinuous decoration in high and low relief on an incised background. The rope pattern on this jar is typical of the Middle Jomon Period. The pot is in the Kassaka-style (勝坂式) from the Chubu Region, possibly northern Nagano. |
