| Description | Vermeule: Chalcedony. Intaglio. (Modern silvered ring setting) Bearded rustic divinity perhaps Saturn walking to right, holding crab and ears of corn. He has elaborate oriental type wings and walks Egyptian-type cartouche in which appears a crab and pseudo-hieroglyphs XVI or XVII century? based on a gnostic type stone. |
