| Description | Semicircular fan with painted wood grip and stiff plant fibers. Circular central section of leather with painted geometric design (red, green, cream). Long stiff fibers (roots?) knotted around about three-fourths of the edge; the other fourth being the painted wooden grip. Catalogued as "India," but similar to 15418, which is catalogued as "East Indies." |
