| Description | CBS Register: terracotta figurine, man with turban. early period. PBS XVI: Male figure of a primitive type modelled by hand. Same pinched nose and pellet eyes. Pellets on a band across the chest represent the edge of an embroidered tunic or the fringes of a shawl thrown over the left shoulder. Pellets on the peaked turban imitate the tufts of a woolen material. Turban and arms were attached separately. |
