| Description | One of a series of woodblock prints with color depicting the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895. This print shows a scene from the Great Battle of Pyongyang with soldiers firing from thick brush. An officer in black with his sword drawn appears in the front with soldiers in white behind him. There are inscriptions in red in the margins and a seal and signature for the artist Yukawa Hiromitsu. |
