Double weave, native cane. Natural color and dyed butternut. Pineapple design. "This basket is a reproduction of one in the British Museum that was taken to England in 1725." Made by Lottie Stamper, Cherokee, N.C. Type basket of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
