| Description | A carved tata (bailer) made of one piece of wood. The bailer's forward projecting handle and rim are carved with two manaia (spiritual guardian) figures, one on the handle and one on the back of the bailer. Two cracks along the bottom of the bailer. A tata (bailer) is used to remove water from a canoe or other watercraft. |
