| Description | Obv. 咸豐通寶 Xian Feng Tong Bao. Rev. Nan (Manchu) left and 南 Nan right. The reverse is unusual which most likely makes this a charm. Coins with this reverse from the Kangxi period were minted in Changsha, Hunan province with 康熙通寶 Kang Xi Tong Bao on the obverse. This could also be a 诗钱 shi qian "poem coin" or a 套子钱 taozi qian "set coin". |
