Brown and white. Bird design

Fragment of plain weave with embroidery. The ground plain weave is most likely cotton. Woven design. Diamond patterned embroidery in zigzag. Color of embroidery is black. One bound edge (needle-knitted) and one warp selvage edge present. Catalogue card identifies the embroidery design as "bird design". Color(s): Off-white and black.
