| Description | A rectangular woven textile on a blue background with white diamond-shaped patterns on the foreground. This is a traditional python design which is the oldest Yakan design, and takes 70 sticks to create. Small tassels decorate the two shorter ends of the textile. The design is also known as “the cloth with 70 designs” or “peneh pitumpu” and is generally reserved for aristocrats as it requires expert skill to weave and is very time consuming. |
