| Description | Wooden Katsina doll. The eyes are vertical rectangles connected by a wide horizontal rectangle. The mouth is a small, inverted triangle. One ear is painted red and the other is a horn painted with a blue and red lattice design. The body is painted red, white and blue and a painted kilt is worn at the waist. This figure is the Long Horned (Wupa'ala) Katsina. (Colton, H. 1959 #96, Wright, B., 1973 #116) |
