| Description | CBS Register: square grey stone tablet with engraving (part of animals). Bronze mount at the back -all edges smooth, so a whole object, but the back end of animals, so clearly part of a pair. PBS XIV: Hind legs of two ibexes. Limestone tessera for mosaic decoration, with a hole at the back to fix a copper wire. Nippur. |
