| Description | Sommerville: Antique paste intaglio, color dark sard. Castor. Antique Pastes, Case XXX. Vermeule: Glass paste, imitating Carnelian. Intaglio. (Unmounted) Castor standing to right (his horse standing behind him) the identification provided by Sommerville, however, he wears a cuirass and helmet and holds a trophy over his right shoulder, thus a Roman Republican warrior or a Trojan hero represented in the schema of the Dioscuroi is intended.
