Black jug of a conical fruit-shape. Cylindrical neck, everted lip, one loop handle body to neck (pepino shaped)

Narrow-necked jar/bottle with an effigy-fruit shaped body, cylindrical neck, flanged rim, 1 strap handle extending from the neck to the body, and a flat base. The body of the vessel is in the form of an acorn-shaped fruit. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in a reducing atmosphere as the surface is black and the interior is gray in color. Evidence of usewear includes surface attrition on the bottom/base. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "3115."
