| Description | Unglazed: juncture of stem and bowl; resting surface of foot; area within foot on underside. On underside are wheel-painted a thin line circle within a broad circular band. Otherwise fully glazed. In the center of the floor are impressed: four stamped palmettes within a wheel-grooved line. Around these are impressed, over a wheel-grooved line, a line of closely spaced small, ovoid impressions. Intact. Medium quality black glaze. 5602 is painted on inside of foot. |
