| Description | Color printed sheet of soldier on horse. One of a set of 73 sheets consisting primarily of color prints with battle scenes with a style which has strong Western influence. The title in Japanese is: 平壌大激戦日本将校奮闘之図 (Japanese officers fighting fiercely at the Battle of Pyongyang) by Takigawa Miyotarō (瀧川三代太郎). This is part of a set of lithographs depicting scenes and battles from the first Sino-Japanese war. |
