| Description | 6 mexicans around a card game, of fired clay; dress typical of turn of century; 7 pieces in all. One standing, one lying down, two sitting on blankets, two sitting on lumps of clay. Dress is typical of the turn of the century: short jackets, wide hats, tight pans slit to knees, mustaches, except for one seated figure who wears a black poncho and red scarf tied around head, no mustache. One smokes a cigarette. On the hide or blanket in the center are cards, coins, a bottle and a small grey pouch. Seven pieces in all. |
