| Description | Ornamented Gourds. With burnt decoration. Used for storage of small articles; some were also used for storing oil. Geometric incised and blackened decoration. Three panels each with large double lined X formation in the center encircle gourd; cross hatch pattern found in between double lines; between each panel there is a double triangle (points touching); fourteen smaller triangles decorate the rim; five point cut out at top. |
