| Description | Round, wooden Katsina doll. The face is painted yellow with rectangular eyes and a square mouth. The hair is painted black and tied up in round whorls on either side of the head. A feather is attached to the top of the head. A painted, white and red blanket is wrapped around the body and a painted dress is worn underneath. This figure is a variant of Maiden Katsina. |
