| Description | Zoomorphic, geometric, bird, chevron. bobbin weave. Red, yellow, brown and white. Fragment of woven cloth with 3 bands/stripes of a single-sided bobbin weave (floats on verso). This weaving appears to be over the plain weave base. Remnants of a needle-knitted edge. Evidence of what appears to be a join to a plain weave cloth along one of the long edges. According to the catalogue card, this is a part of a "loin cloth". Color(s): White, red, tan? and yellow. |
