| Description | Mouthpiece rim deeply undercut ( cf. AF827), lateral transverse ridged well marked ( as in AF835, 822). The latter bisect each a well marked prominence on the side of the tusk continuous with the rim. This reminates on the side opposite the mouthpiece-hole in a small knob. THe small end of the tusk is perforated lengthwise as is often the case with these trumpets; here there is a leteral perforation as well. For the attribution to "Waginda" on the old label, Torday substituted "Baginda": cf. AF 823. |
