Description

Warp: \ linen; ud.

Weft: \ linen; ud: \ wool; mixed-purple.

Technique: Tapestry over 1-2-1-3-warp.

A. Narrow clavus ending in club. Wavy stem sprouting club leaves interrupted by a panel carrying a tulip.

B. Fragment of clavus and square panel with border like clavus. Center circle sprouts a leaf into each corner and surrounds a putto with basket of fruit. Ground filled by plant sprays.
