| Description | The small, limestone fragment most likely belongs to a funerary stela. It displays part of a line of hieroglyphic text with the standard offering formula of the time: “… [Osiris], lord of Djedu (Busiris), invocation offerings of beer and bread…” Below the inscription one can discern the head of a small, minor figure, likely a cup-bearer, whose name is etched in miniscule hieroglyphs as “Nefer-sehu.” |
