Description

Transitional type from Hellenistic. Blunt nozzle figure lamp. One single projection at one side of the body (as found in Menzel's "Warzenlampen")/ Soft, well levigated light yellow clay. Dull dark brown glaze. Discus: comic mask. Undecorated potter's stamp. Nozzle missing.
