| Description | Black polished juglet. Fine hard gray clay. Thin black slip with little lustre preserved. Round base, ovoid body; cylindrical neck, round spout, everted rim; vertical handle, round in section, from rim to upper body. Incised decoration: two horizontal bands of concentric lozenges divided by a horizontal line; on neck, two groups of six horizontal lines; on interior rim, four pairs of hatched bands radiating from the neck opening; on handle, three groups of five transverse lines. |
