| Description | Representation, in wood, of a person completely covered by a sleeved tunic of raphia fibres and trousers of the same material. The mask is a short cylinder, worn as if the wearer was bowing low showing the top of the cylinder; the front of the mask, pointing downward, shows a long curved beak-like projection, between two flat projections with front corners rounded off. Decorated in stripes, etc., of natural light color of wood, black, and rusty red. See Gawboi costume 37-22-286. |
