| Description | The object is identified as a Zuni Shalako. The Kachina is carved painted wood with black yarn for hair and beard. The eyes and mount protrude; there are two wooden horns on the sides of the head. The Kachina has no arms and is clothed in a fabric and felt garment with a red bib with turquoise stones attached. Paint colors: white, black, pink, neon yellow, neon orange, turquoise. |
