| Description | Painted wooden insect hornet figure with a multicolored helmet mask, long pointed stinger or stylet, and sharply pointed horns/ears. The dancing figure wears a ruff collar of grey fur and the top of the head is adorned with 2-3 tiny feathers. The figure wears white body paint, a breech cloth of painted leather with a flower motif, blue and green yarn tassels at PR wrist and PL knee, and a brown leather cuff on PL wrist and ankles. The figure holds a bow in its proper left (PL) hand, likely a gourd rattle now missing was once held in proper right (PR) hand. The figure stands on a wooden base on one leg. |
