| Description | The Object is identified as a Hopi Morning Singer in the catalogue. The Kachina is carved painted wood. The figure wears a blue mask with a black top, red ears, cylindrical mouth, multi-colored cloud symbols at cheeks, and feathers attached at top and back of head. The figure wears a painted white dance kilt, necklace, moccasins, and ankle garters, and a white cotton cloth mainden style shawl with red and blue boarders around the shoulders. The figure holds a red stick in the proper left (PL) hand, and a blue bell hangs from the proper right (PR) wrist . |
