| Description | The object is identified as a Hopi Sio Hemis or Home Dance alternate, the Zuni version as interpreted by the Hopi. The Kachina is made of carved painted wood. The figure wears a mask and tablita headdress with five feathers tied at the top of the head. The figure does not hold any objects. On the bottom of the proper left foot is a tag with: PG 0013 Paint colors: white, black, light pink (faded red?), dark pink, red, ochre, brown, turquoise, green, blue. |
