| Description | The coin is from Yemen. There is a date on the reverse, 1103 AH/1691-2 CE. On the obverse, it reads "al-Imam al-Nasir”. This was the Imam who ruled Yemen from 1686-1718 during the Qasimi period. He went by three titles, Al-Nasir, al-Hadi, and finally al-Mahdi. His given name is Muhammad bin Ahmad. |
