| Description | Small rectangular wooden pigment box with lid; rim of lid is slanted and is ornamentally incised with interlacing diamond shapes; both front and back of box have similiar carvings; both the left and right side of box are incised with several rows of tiny triangles; protruding knob from center of lid, decorated with both vertical and horizontal lines; there is a hole in the rim above the knob and a second hole found directly below; two pieces of twisted fiber are tied together through the two holes(one of the strands has split); interior of box has a red hue; exterior is dark brown. |
