| Description | Yoni shaped pendant with two eyes. Each eye is decorated with a flower and a flower is at the tip. The pendant depicts a female goddess/devi standing beneath an arch holding what appears to be branches (?). A small hole peirces her head. Amulets like these are known by many names including madaliya and patri. The original description for the piece reads: "Old Silver Hindu Talisman from Ajmere Raj. India. Lakshmi, wife of Vishnu". |
