| Description | Necklace (phul) with amulet attached. 4 Z-spun, S-twisted cords Z-twisted together. Eight circular pendents strung together on either side of a central square pendant. Two round beads seperate the square and circular pendents. The central pendant depicts a man and a woman (Ganesha and Lakshmi) sitting beneath an arch in the forest. Amulets like these are known by many names including madaliya and patri. |
