| Description | Shallow dish, 2 high handles. In shape it is very small version of an Apulian vessel called a Phiale. Ring foot; narrow ledge rim; loop handles, attached in two places each to rim, rising at a very sharply acute angle. Around floor are two circles of decoration in white: ivy leaves below, schematic flowers above, separated by a wheel-incised line. On rim there are ivy leaves onone side, schematic flowers on the other. Mended from several pieces. |
