| Description | Unfluted; quasi-lanceolate; may be unfinished. Basal ears pointed and ground, with off-center basal concavity. One edge of blade excurvate; other straight to below mid-point, then excurvate and straight again to tip. Tip has been broken twice; first time smoothed by secondary retouch. Slight edge wear evident; basally ground from near midpoint and between ears. Flaking tends to be broad and shallow with rippling well developed. Few hinge fractures. One face exhibits what may be incipient fluting up to 21 mm long. Fine-grained grey-black flint. Remnant of striking platform at center of base. |
