| Description | Fragment of a column from the palace of Merenptah, Room 20. Raised relief decoration. At the left is the rear portion of the king, who wears a translucent pleated kilt, and a scarf. His left arm is raised in a gesture of offering. At the right is the king's serekh, which has been anthropomorphized at the bottom, with a human arm holding a was-scepter. |
