| Description | Vermeule: Chalcedony-Onyx. Cameo. (Modern Gold Ring Setting) The stone itself is in an old setting and has been remounted. A Gryllos head consisting of a Pan to right, a Maenad opposite and upside down, a head of Silenus at the base of the neck and a Ram's head at the top. 18th century imitating an ancient model. |
