| Description | There are two lines of hieroglyphic inscription on the limestone fragment of the lintel, separated by a thick register line which also frames the upper portion of the text. The inscription in the upper register reads: “An offering which the king gives (to) Osiris, Lord of Busiris…” The lower register bears an inscription providing a title of the deceased, “overseer of places …,” which is unfortunately incomplete due to the damage of the stone on the lower left portion of the monolith. |
