| Description | CBS Register: clay statuette. Babylonian lady, head broken off. One hand to her breasts and the other hanging. Fringed shawl. Greek Style PBS XVI: Babylonian woman dressed with a tunic falling to the feet, a belt with tassels, necklace with pendants and bracelets. She may be a servant or worshiper. Her left hand supporting her breasts and her right covering her sex are not unlike the attitude of the Greek Venus. molded. |
