Description

Screen fan or finger mask. A circular screen of wood with grotesque human features on either side and a pair of holes for the fingers. A fringe of wolf's hair at the border. They are placed on the fingers by the women during certain dances and waved to and from with a fan-like motion. (Catalogue entry)
