| Description | Decoration probably all in added white, most of which has now disappeared leaving only discolorations of the glaze. Decoration entirely floral. On lower body is a wheel-painted line which serves as the ground line for a convoluted tendril at left and right; in the center is a vertical herring-bone plant. On the shoulder are numerous short lines which radiate from the base of the neck. On the neck in the center is a vertical plant with a top like a spear-point; on either side is a convoluted tendril. Below the handle is another "spear-head" plant. Lip has been broken in part and glued back with some plaster restoration. Otherwise intact. |
