| Description | Tapering quadrangular piece of shell resembling a miniature adze, with a small round hole drilled in the narrow end. Brownish pink and cream. Polished. Surface archaeological find. One of a collection of shell ornaments and fragments, mostly segments of rings, found together in an approximately 10 by 2 foot area of storm eroded beach on Polle Island. |
