| Description | Broad curved fragment of shell, segment of a ring. Quite thick, with flat sides and triangular cross-section. One side smooth, the other with a worn area including parallel striations. Tape label reading “Polle.” Surface archaeological find. One of a collection of shell ornaments and fragments, mostly segments of rings, found together in an approximately 10 by 2 foot area of storm eroded beach on Polle Island. |
