| Description | Breadfruit peeler made from a cowrie shell (Cypraea sp.). A hole is cut across the convex side of the shell and its edges sharpened by grinding. A second hole is broken through on the flat (slotted) side of the shell, for the strips of cut skin to fall through. Surface archaeological find. |
