| Description | Pottery bowl with one large relief face rising from rim. Flat bottom. Reddish ware painted after firing, and colouring worn off in many places. Covered with chalky substance; body painted with red [achiote] and black [soot] vertical bands; features of relief face painted black and red on white [lime from burnt snail shells]. Filled with copal. Strip of bark cloth tied and knotted around body. Represents God Palicyum, servant of Hach'acyum, the Creator God. |
