| Description | A Japanese hansatsu 藩札 (clan note) issued by the Shibamura clan (芝村) in Washu (和州) also known as Yamato province, present day Nara Prefecture. The denomination is one monme of silver (銀壹匁). It is dated to May of 1745 CE (延享貳乙丑年五月吉祥日 Enkyo second wood ox year fifth month auspicious day). The reverse has Benzaiten, in this case Happi Benzaiten, with eight arms, while the reverse has Daikoku, in this case Sanmen Daikoku, with three heads. See also 29-222-14E. |
