| Description | A rice receipt of payment note (米納会所米手形). It was issued by Kofuku-in Temple (興福院) in Yamato province (大和) in Shindo village (新堂村), present day Nara prefecture. The denomination is one monme of silver (一銀壹匁). It is dated to 1866 CE (丙寅). The obverse has rice bales at the top. |
